SUINI E SALSICCIE
"Del maiale non si butta via nulla". Questo insegna la saggezza popolare.
Il suino, emblema della produzione alimentare, rappresenta in questo mio lavoro la metafora di un mondo "usa e getta", con ampi sprechi in tutti i settori della societa' dei consumi.
L’opera è composta da due maiali, animale-simbolo dell'abbondanza, fattore predominante al giorno d'oggi, è realizzata in legno riciclato proveniente da bancali industriali esausti e non piu' utilizzabili per il loro scopo. Questi da me smontati, tagliati sono riassemblati in maniera da poter ottenere la figura prescelta.
L'opera si completa con delle salsiccie di cemento, materiale che compone i nostri spazi vitali. Ciò che dovrebbe essere vivente, l'animale, resta organico (il legno) ma perde lo splendore del movimento e della Vita Naturale, diviene materia industriale e con lui noi, che ci cibiamo di esso.
Il rapporto Uomo/Natura si completa nella ferma unione di entrambe le parti, infatti, l'Uomo è parte della Natura e la Natura completa l'Uomo. Credo che la perdita del rapporto con la Natura
sia una grave mancanza, implichi una perdita dal punto di vista fisico oltre che nella sfera spirituale, a mio avviso la più importante.
Credo ci sia un qualcosa di mistico e di misterioso quando ci si trova completamente immerso nella Natura, in un bosco ad esempio, quando tutti i sensi sono armonicamente concordi e creano una situazione di pace generale; di vero benessere. Questo fenomeno è sempre stata la giusta regola che oggigiorno diventa un evento straordinario, anormale.
Il rapporto tra uomo e animale, divenuto fittizio e raro, si riduce in ogni sua manifestazione perdendo di vista ogni contatto benevolo. Osservando un'animale, la mia attenzione si focalizza sugli occhi, che esprimono moti sensibili decisamente umani.
La società in cui noi viviamo, dove i rapporti con l'esterno e le comunicazioni divengono sempre più “virtuali”, è sempre più facile perdere il contatto con la sfera naturale, con ciò che è realmente Vita.

The pig is the emblem of food production and represents in this work, the metaphor of a world "disposable", with large waste in all sectors of consumer society. The work is composed of two pigs, animal-symbol of abundance, today predominant factor.
The work is made with recycled wood from pallets industry now exhausted and no more suitable for their original purpose.
Disassembled, cut and reassembled to obtain the figure chosen. The work is completed with sausages made in cement, material that makes up our living space today. What might be live, the animal, remains only organic (wood) but loses the brilliance of movement and the natural life, becomes industrial matters and with him us, whom eat it. The relationship between Man and Nature is completed in the firm union of both parts, in fact, Man is part of Nature and Nature completes Man. I believe that the loss of relationship between men and Nature is a serious failure, involves a loss from a physical point of view as well as in the spiritual sphere, in my opinion the most important. I think it's somehow mystical and mysterious when you are completely immersed in Nature, in a forest for example, when all the senses are harmoniously agree and create a situation of general peace, of well-being.
This phenomenon has always been the rule that right nowadays becomes an extraordinary event, abnormal.
The relationship between man and animal became false and rare, it is reduced in all its manifestations losing sight of each contact benevolent.
Observing an animal, my attention is focused on the eyes, which express emotions as a human.
The society in which we live, where relations with the outside and communications become increasingly "virtual", it is increasingly easy to lose touch with the natural sphere, with what is truly Life.
