GIRAFPILLAR (GIRAFFIDAE ESCAVATOR)
Le Girafpillar sono sculture di carta riciclata: il loro corpo ricorda quello di una giraffa ma la testa sul lungo collo è quella di una macchinario escavatore.
Il risultato è una riflessione sul dualismo organico - meccanico: la carta, ora recuperata, di cui sono composte queste strane creature è all’origine ricavata dall’abbattimento degli alberi effettuato con l’aiuto della stessa pala escavatrice che dà forma alla loro testa.

GIRAFPILLAR (GIRAFFIDAE ESCAVATOR)
The Girafpillars are sculptures of recycled paper: their body remembers that of a giraffe but the head on the long neck it is that of a excavator. The result is a reflection on the organic- mechanical dualism: the paper of which these strange creatures are composed is recycled, but to the origin is gotten by the demolition of the trees effected with the help of the same excavator that gives form to their head.
