VISION OF THE SPIRIT AND SPIRIT REVEALED
Like the large migratory birds that fill us with admiration, Michel Gautier travels the " Blue Planet ", back and forth, North and South in search of new images and vivid emotions. The very fibres of his being are impregnated with the air, light, water, soil and vegetation of the countries through which he has travelled. His work, with its paper totems and embossed multiform inscriptions, is further evidence of his deep attachment to " Mother Earth", which he defends with body and soul. In a society dedicated to the service of materialism and science, the artist gives birth to imaginary beings that reawaken a long history recorded by the centuries, reinvents it, and offers an extension to life. At the limits of the real and the unreal, we understand that the Earth is mother to us all, that the life within each of us is the same as the life within all living beings. Fragile paper totems invite us to become guardians of the ancestral Balance between man and nature ... our only guarantee of eternity!
