La Firepaint si basa sui principi della Ceramica Preistorica ( la più antica tecnica ceramica). Seguire il sentiero della Ceramica Preistorica significa immergersi nella natura e sperimentare di persona ogni fase di questo processo : dalla ricerca alla selezione dei vari tipi di terra, dall'impasto con acqua alla lavorazione completamente manuale, dalla raccolta della legna alla cottura che avviene nella braca incandescente di un fuoco all'aperto. L'impronta che il fuoco lascia sulla terracotta non è che l'ultimo sigillo a testimonianza della trasformazione. In questo dialogo rispettoso fra natura e uomo riscopriamo le intime relazioni fra gli elementi che costituiscono il mondo a cui apparteniamo.

THE FIRE TONGUE
This method is based on the principles of prehistoric baked clay which is the most ancient ceramic technique. The path of the Prehistoric Ceramics entails a full immersion from the reserch to the selection of the different types of clay, from the dough with water to the final handwork, from the collection of the firewood to the baking that happens in the incandescent embers of an open fire. The prints and the signs left by the fire are the last seal testifying the complete transformation of the matter. Within this respectful dialog between nature and human being we may rediscover the intimate relations among the elements which form the world we belong to.
