SCIOGLIERE
L’ Installazione “Sciogliere” è un’ installazione che si riferisce al tema dell’ecosostenibilita’. Quello che interessa è il gioco dinamico e nello stesso tempo bilanciato degli elementi naturali che interagiscono tra loro, come in un rapporto alchemico: il sale corrode il ghiaccio ed il ghiaccio divenendo acqua scioglie il sale. Un funzionamento autonomo che provoca lo sciogliersi, qui inteso e riferito anche al delicato equilibrio delle acque e degli elementi che costituiscono i sistemi naturali terrestri.
Inoltre il gocciolio dell’acqua segna il ritmo del tempo e le pentole di raccolta si riferiscono al tema tutto siciliano delle “gebbie”, contenitori d’acqua. Spazio e tempo trovano un loro equilibrio , cosi’ come l’interazione tra le forze interne degli elementi dei ghiacci appesi che divengono delle sculture scolpite dall’aria e dal vento. Quello che rimane viene trattenuto non solo dalle pentole, ma anche dalle garze montate sotto alle mezze balate di ghiaccio. L’immagine ad Installazione finita è quella delle pentole colme d’acqua colorata (blu e giallo simboleggiano acqua e terra di saline siciliane), e dei cestelli vuoti sospesi sopra. L’installazione “Sciogliere” puo’ essere realizzata in esterni naturali oppure urbani. Negli interni rimanda fortemente all’idea dell’ecosistema naturale.

SCIOGLIERE
The Installation “Sciogliere” (loose) is an installation that you can include in a theme about eco - sustainability.
The interesting thing is the dynamic play and in the same way. Balance of the natural elements like in an alchemic relation: the salt corrodes the ice and the ice becoming water looses the salt. That is an independent operation that produce the loosing of elements, in this event is so understood as a delicate balance of the earth water and her elements. Well, the time is signed from the water-dropping-marks , the drops of the water dropping into the pots. Finding a balance between time and space, so like the inner strength of the elements that you can see inside the hanging ices. These becomes really sculptures of the air and the wind. All that remain is inside the tops but also it remains in the little pieces of gauzes under the ice blocks. The image of the ending installation is the empty nests over the full coloured water tops (blue and yellow to remember Sicilian salt landscapes). The Installation “Loose” could be realized in urban contexts, in external or internal places or naturals area like parks. By the internal urban places it could take you to think about Nature.
