WHERE AM I?
E’ un mondo futuribile quello rappresentato dall’artista: una visione cianotica e forte di un universo stravolto dominato da una natura alterata e infetta.
E’ un mondo non più riconoscibile prodotto dall’azione umana che, senza controllo, ha modificato l’ambiente inquinandolo ripetutamente fino a trasformarlo in un “altro luogo”.
L’ambiente è danneggiato per sempre, ma l’uomo è sempre lo stesso. Per questo la donna non sa dov’è, è incredula e arrabbiata quasi dimenticandosi dell’artefice di una simile brutalità. Where am I? Non è chiaro: in una città? Sott’acqua? In una città sprofondata negli abissi? L’artista non risponde, lascia volutamente aperto l’interrogativo. Vuole che sia l’osservatore a trovare una risposta dentro di sé. L’unica certezza è che in questo nuovo mondo si fa fatica a respirare: cosa rimane quindi?

WHERE AM I?
The artist represents a possible world: a cyanotic and shocking vision about a twisted universe dominated by an altered and infected nature.
It’s a no longer recognizable world created by the human action who, without any control, has changed the environment, polluting it again and again, till it was transformed into “another place”. The habitat has been damaged forever, but the human being has never changed. For this reason the woman doesn’t know where she is, she is incredulous and angry as if she has forgotten who was the maker of a brutality like that. Where am I? It’s not clear: in a city? Under the water? In a city fallen into the abyss? The artist doesn’t answer, she intentionally leaves the question open. She wants the observer to find an answer inside himself. The only certain thing is that in this new world breathing is very difficult: therefore what is it left?
