BEGINNING OF AN END
My painting shows the skeletal forms of tree remains that are due to an unforgiving sun, which is alien to their environment. Their shape and the bleached effect depict a climate change that has left an environmental legacy from which nature will find difficult to recover from. This appears to be the start of a progression that will continue, and as my painting intends to show, the heat will eventually not only affect the trees but the remainder of the environment in the picture. If man was not so greedy and governments were wise and thoughtful then solutions would transpire much more quickly. Our planet can and will recover if man gives it the respect it deserves. However the question is, will this picture be a true version of a disaster that will become the beginning of the end?
