URBAN EVOLUTION
L’opera scultorea “Urban Evolution”(2009), con cui Christian Leperino - artista da sempre impegnato sull’analisi degli “human landascapes” - intende partecipare al concorso “Contemporary Ecoart project” (sezione 1), viene concepita come risposta originale al tema dell’Inquinamento e del Riciclo. Realizzato in catrame, materiale inteso come supporto dell’immaginario post-industriale, l’umanoide dal colore nerofumo racconta come la sofferenza degli ecomosaici presenti negli spazi urbani ( e umani) possa essere rimodellata grazie alle capacità plastiche della mente-corpo umana. Una rielaborazione del disagio degli ecosistemi umani/urbani che segni l’ inizio di una nuova storia delle città.

URBAN EVOLUTION
The sculture “Urban Evolution”(2009), with which Christian Leperino – who is an artist always focused on the analysis of ““human landascapes” - would like to participate in the competition “Contemporary Ecoart project” (section 1), is conceived as an original response to the original topic of Pollution and Recycling. This sculpture, made of tar - that is material intended to support post-industrial imagery - depicts a humanoid carbon black color which tells us how the suffering of ecomosaici present in urban (and human) areas could be reshaped through the plastic capacity of the mind-body human. A reworking of the discomfort of the human/urban ecosystem signs that the beginning of a new history of the city.
