ICONA DELLA CONTEMPORANEITÀ
“Icona della Contemporaneità” ripropone nei materiali e nella non-figurazione il concetto di contemporaneità, inteso come perdita di risorse naturali (il legno) e di identità. Essa ripropone attraverso il recupero simbolico dei materiali (pallet di legno) la forma “Icona”, a noi pervenuta a partire dall’esperienza dell’arte bizantina del 5° secolo.

CONTEMPORANEIY-ICON
By means of the choice of materials and the absence of figuration, “Contemporaneity-icon” revises the idea of contemporaneity, in the sense of loss of natural resources  the wood  and loss of identity. In this work, wood pallets are reused in a symbolic way to revise the shape “icon” which has reached us in several forms after the Byzantine art of the V Century.
